Lust Have It! February Box

Lust Have It! are an Australian beauty box subscription service that I've been a member of since mid 2015. I love the idea of having a box full of beauty goodies delivered each month to your door and you never know what you're going to get which is an exciting surprise. They come with 5+ deluxe beauty samples so it's a great way to try different products and discover new brands.

I love getting fragrance samples but unfortunately The Body Shop's Italian Summer Fig Eau De Toilette (sample) just wasn't to my liking. It has a fresh, light, fruity scent that isn't overly sweet and sickly. I've read a lot of amazing reviews on this particular fragrance so it's loved by many however, I'm just not into the scent and it doesn't last well on my skin either. I wouldn't say it's an absolutely awful scent but I do have other fragrances that I much prefer.

I hadn't heard about Mellow Cosmetics until Lust Have It! and the first thing I noticed about their Matte Lipstick is the sweet cocoa scent. Blossom (full size) is a lovely orange-red toned matte lipstick that is rich in colour and very creamy in texture. Not at all drying for a matte lipstick, it's actually quite comfortable to wear with it's moisturising properties.

When Winter hits, my skin needs a touch more hydration and I really enjoy the Vitamin E Moisture Cream (sample) from The Body Shop so I was happy to get a sample of it. The consistency isn't too thick and heavy where it can leave that greasy residue. It's actually lightweight and absorbs easily into my skin. I like it not only because it helps  to re-hydrate my skin when it's feeling a tad on the drier side, but also because it works extremely well for my oily skin. A great daily moisturiser for all skin types.

My hair can look flat and limp, so I love anything that can give me some of that volume and body that my hair so desperately lacks. I've used the Full & Luscious shampoo and conditioner (sample) by Garnier once before and I noticed that it did give me some volume and fullness to my hair. I haven't used it enough to know whether it does make my hair feel thicker and fuller after each wash, but I'm willing to give it a try along with their Leave-In Serum from the range.

The Silhouette Mascara in Nightfall (full size) by Be A Bombshell Cosmetics is very black in colour which is exactly what I want in a quality mascara. I like to apply 2-3 coats to give me that full lash effect and the results are great. The mascara brush is quite large so it's a bit tricky to coat the bottom lashes and get right in the corners of your top lashes without getting it everywhere. But other than that, it's a nice mascara and it gets the job done.

I've been liking Lovely Lanolin's Everyday Hand Balm (full size) lately and it moisturises my hands so very well without that greasy feel. The lightweight formula absorbs into my skin almost instantly and it leaves my hands feeling silky soft. It contains Lanolin, Rose Oil and Keratin for your nails. A lovely hand cream that I know I'll get a lot of use out of especially in Winter when my hands will need it most.

The last product I received in the February box is one that I like the most out of all 7 items, and it's the Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil (sample) from the Oils Of Life skin care range by The Body Shop. For a facial oil, it doesn't feel as oily as some other serums out there and I quite like that. My skin just soaks this up and leaves it feeling supple and looking glowy. It contains Black Cumin seed oil, Camellia seed oil and Rosehip seed oil to revive the skins radiance and deeply moisturises. You can smell those lovely, earthy essential oils so you just know it's going to do wonders for your skin. So far this facial oil has impressed me and I'm actually considering purchasing the full size.
