Makeup Revolution Haul: Part 2

Welcome to part 2 of my huge Makeup Revolution haul!
I have more makeup to share with you lovely people so lets get into it!

Highlight Palette

This palette contains pink, peach and gold highlighting powders that look stunning on the skin.
Great pigmentation and can be used just as a highlight or lightly dust it all over your face for a glowy look.

Single Eye Shadow in Go!

Something different to use on your eyes when you're feeling adventurous.
To reveal its true colour, apply a white primer to your eye lids beforehand and the green will just pop!

Eye Primer in Wow

A lovely bronze eye lid primer with fine shimmer throughout that will help your eye shadow last all day.
It also enhances the colour of your eye shadow and can definitely be worn alone if you prefer.

Single Eye Shadow in U Know U Want To

If you're a lover of pink, this one is for you!
Can be used wet for intensity or dry for a softer look.
High colour payoff and blending is a dream with how buttery in texture it is.

It has a beautiful duo chrome look to it as well!

Velvet Lip Lacquer in Vamp

I very much look forward to wearing this shade in Autumn!
It really does feel like velvet on the lips and dries to a matte finish but it's not drying on the lips in the slightest which is a big plus.
It's almost black in colour but it's a very dark berry shade and the staying power is amazing.

If you love a good matte lip colour, I recommend having a look at their range!

Single Eye Shadow in Good Life

A must have if you love neutral toned eye shadows.
Again, highly pigmented and very blendable.

The One Blush Stick in Malibu

This would look amazing on darker skin tones!
Can be used as a blush, contour, lip colour or even to bronze up your complexion.
Apply dry for an intense look or apply wet for a sheer finish.

Amazing Lipstick in Flashing

Perfect shade of lipstick for Spring and Summer!
It's not too bright of a pink and not too dark either which makes it a very wearable shade for anybody.

Creamy in texture and leaves a slight glossy finish to the lips.

Ultra 32 Shade Eye Shadow Palette in Flawless Matte

This entire palette is just full of matte shades and they are all beautiful.
Amazing quality and so easy to apply.
Perfect for every day use and it's full of great transition and crease shades.
If you're on the hunt for a good quality matte eye shadow palette, this is the one!

This Makeup Revolution haul has come to an end!
I would definitely recommend this brand. The quality of their products are purely amazing and so very affordable.

Makeup Revolution Haul: Part 1

Makeup Revolution are based in London and sell such good quality makeup that everyone can afford.
I'll be sharing with you what I picked up in this part 1 of 2 Makeup Revolution haul.
If you love a good haul as much as I do, just keep on reading!

Salvation Palette in Welcome To The Pleasuredome

Very rich shades with some earthy tones as well as a couple brighter shades for adding a touch of colour to your eye look.
This palette contains 12 shimmers and 6 matte shades that can be used all year round.
Amazing pigmentation for the price and perfect for travelling.

Blushing Hearts Blush in Bursting With Love

The Blushing Hearts range is simply beautiful.
Adorable packaging and the product itself is so flattering on the cheeks.
In the trio you have a highlight, a pale pink and a darker pink blush shade.
You can use the shades individually or mix the three together for a luminous flush on the cheeks.

Eye Dust in Etiquette

I was pleasantly surprised by how pigmented this was.
It's a gorgeous bronze shade that would suit all skin tones.
A great little product for special occasions.
It is quite messy to apply which is the only downside but it's so inexpensive that it just doesn't matter!

Iconic Pro Lipstick in Liberty

This shade of lipstick is a cross between magenta and violet so if you love your purple tones of lipstick, this is for you!
Creamy in texture and comfortable to wear on the lips.

If you're not too keen on bold lip colours, not to worry as there are 20 shades to choose from in the Iconic Pro range.

The One Blush Stick in Pink

A very vibrant shade of pink so you only need a small amount.
Can be used wet for more of a sheer wash of colour or dry for an intense colour.
This shade of blush would look amazing on fair skin tones.

Unicorns Unite Lipstick in Magical

If you're feeling daring or looking to try something different, the Unicorns Unite range is just that. Especially if you're in a experimental kind of mood.
It's in between a matte and creamy formula with just the right amount of shimmer.

Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer in Nothing Like You & I

The quality of this lip lacquer is amazing.
The colour is so opaque and intense.

Does not feel sticky on the lips at all and the formula is very smooth and glossy.
There are 10 beautiful shades to choose from and so wallet friendly!

Pro Looks Palette in Eat Sleep Makeup Repeat

This palette has all the colours of the rainbow and would be the perfect addition to your makeup collection if you love working with colour or if you'd like to start.
These shades just scream Spring and Summer and all you'd need is a touch of colour to complete your look.
They blend really well together and the pigmentation is fantastic!
You could go for a more softer look with this palette or go completely bold with a vibrant, intensified makeup look.

 Single Eyeshadow in Candy Frosted

This eyeshadow looks just like fairy floss and I had to have it!
A very pretty shade of pink with incredible colour payoff and easy to blend.
It doesn't have that chunky glitter, it's a very fine shimmer that looks beautiful on the lid.
Also not much fallout which is always a bonus.

Single Eyeshadow in Envy

Another pigmented eyeshadow from the range.
It is quite a dark shade so do be careful and only apply a bit at a time.
Lasts really well on the eyelid and can be applied wet or dry, depending on the intensity you desire.

Top Spring Lipsticks

Spring is all about sunshine, florals and bright colours and I have 5 beautiful shades of lipstick that are perfect for the Spring season.

Zoeva Luxe Cream Lipstick in Floral Crown

Very creamy lipstick with hours of wear and contains ivy, mallow and elderflower for intense moisturisation.
Zoeva's lipsticks provide great quality with how opaque and comfortable they are to wear on the lips.
I'd definitely recommend them if you haven't tried them out for yourself.
They also come in 5 other beautiful shades from reds, pinks and nudes.

Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick in Flashing

A gorgeous mauve/pink shade for Spring.
Creamy in texture with high colour payoff.
It's not too dark or too bright so it would be perfectly wearable for any time of the day.

With 20 shades to choose from, there is a lipstick to suit everyone and you just can't go wrong for the price.

Boe Professional Colour Pro Matte Perfect Lipstick in Premiere

Boe's matte lipsticks contain skin hydrating and conditioning ingredients such as Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil and Vitamin E so they are not drying on the lips at all.
They are very pigmented in colour and provide a soft velvet matte finish.
For best results, exfoliate your lips prior to application to ensure a beautiful smooth finish.

Sleek MakeUP True Colour Lipstick in Peaches & Cream

A lovely peach shade of lipstick that contains Vitamin E and leaves a sheen on your lips.
Perfect shade if you're looking for more of a fresh, natural look for Spring.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids in Vibrant Mandarin

Not quite red, not quite orange but just in between which is why I think this shade works so well for Spring.
Very nourishing formula with honey nectar.
If you love bright shades of lipstick, you'll definitely love the Vivids range!

That is it for my top Spring lipsticks.

Beauty Blender Vs Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Makeup sponges are an extremely popular beauty tool used by many which has changed the way we apply our base and the results are simply flawless.
This post will be a comparison between the Beauty Blender and the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

About the Beauty Blender

The Beauty Blender features an open cell structure that fills with small amounts of water when wet. This allows the sponge to be "full" so that the makeup product sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed, allowing you to use less product every time. When wet, the Beauty Blender doubles in size and becomes even softer, returning to it's original size when it air dries.
Latex free
Non-allergenic
Odour free

About the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Rounded sides blend large areas of the face with a repeated dabbing or "stippling" motion.
Precision tip covers blemishes and imperfections.
Flat edge is for the contours around the eyes and nose.
It's versatile design evenly blends makeup for a smooth, enhanced finish.
Made from polyurethane foam which is latex free.
For best results, replace the sponge every 1-3 months.

The Beauty Blender is slightly smaller in size and much softer.
As for application, I think they both do an incredible job at blending and giving you that flawless base without any streaks that brushes can sometimes leave behind.
I personally like the flat edge on the Miracle Complexion Sponge, It makes easy to get around the nose and eye areas to apply your makeup.

I didn't see any difference in terms of application and the finish it gave me so I think the biggest difference between the two are the price and durability.
The Beauty Blender goes for around $30 compared to the Miracle Complexion Sponge retails for $17.

I think it's worth spending a little bit extra money on purchasing the Beauty Blender. It will last you a good while and you wouldn't need to constantly replace it as often as you would the Miracle Complexion Sponge as it can wear and tear after a lot of use.
If you have allergies, the Beauty Blender would also be the way to go.

They both do a fantastic job but I think the Beauty Blender is the one to go for.
