January Favourites

Welcome to the very first monthly favourites of 2017!

I hope your year has been off to a wonderful start. Mine has started off rather slow so here's hoping things pick up as the months go by. Today I have 4 new makeup products from the drugstore that I'm very excited to share with you, so let's get right into what I've been loving this January.

5 Brands I'm Currently Loving

There are a lot of brands out there that I love and there are many more that I am yet to try (I'll get there eventually). But today it's all about these 5 brands that I have been really enjoying the most these past few weeks, and have impressed me with their amazing products.

Summer Eyes, Lips & Cheeks

I'm not too crazy about Summer. In fact, it would have to be my least favourite season of the year. But there are a few things that I do enjoy; Number one would be having fish and chips and ice cream at the beach, and two is the pretty, glowy and fresh makeup that I have brought to you in today's post.

The Lightweight Base

Lightweight bases are what I reach for when I'm wanting a 'barely there' approach to makeup, which is mostly for day to day or when I'm just feeling lazy. Often I find base products to feel like I'm wearing a mask over my skin, but these 5 are incredibly breathable on the skin and comfortable to wear all day long.

Affordable Makeup Must-Buys

Being an avid makeup lover, I'm always on the hunt for exciting new products to test and share with you all. Sometimes you come across complete misses from the drugstore but then you find those products that just make you go 'wow'. So if you're a drugstore makeup gal, boy do I have some goodies for you!

Review | Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation

As I was having a little browse at my local drugstore, this new release by Rimmel caught my attention because their foundations normally come in a tube or glass bottle, not a jar so I was very curious about it. I must say, I have read very mixed reviews on this product but today I will be bringing you my honest thoughts and opinions on this foundation and if I would recommend it.

12 Resolutions to Kick Start the New Year

Now that 2017 is upon us, it's time to make that list of resolutions that we would like to accomplish by the end of the year and maybe even stick to it for many more years to come. Here I have a few goals of my own that I hope to achieve, as well as some others that I think are great resolutions for anyone wanting to make a change this year.

For many, 2016 wasn't the best year. I must admit, it wasn't my greatest year either however, things wen't relatively well with my blog; I accomplished most of the goals that I set for myself (high five!), and I feel like I have made good progress overall so that's a huge positive for me.
