By the time this goes live on the blog, it'll be my birthday the following day (woohoo!), so I am welcoming July with open arms! Before I get too excited and completely off topic about the anniversary of my birth, let's talk about what I have been loving throughout the month of June.

The latest addition to my eyeshadow collection is this gorgeous 'Berries' palette by BYS that has been getting a lot of attention within the beauty community. My Minimal Makeup Routine

I've been really appreciating effortless and minimal makeup after being inspired by French beauty. Sometimes it's a mix of sheer laziness (hence the minimal makeup routine) or sometimes I feel like embracing natural beauty by going back to basics. I love me a good nude lip as much as the next girl and no matter what the season, 90% of the time I will reach for a neutral lip colour. But we're not hear to talk about eyeshadow or lipstick, we are here to get a closer look at the L'Oreal Color Riche nail polishes that have been on my nails every single week for the past month.

Affordable Photo Styling Props

I am in no way an expert or a pro when it comes to photo styling (I'm still learning as I go), but what I do know is there are an array of inexpensive props (even things that you might already have lying around the house) that can instantly elevate and enhance the overall look of a photo. So today I wanted to share with you what I like to use to style my photos and hopefully it'll help you out the next time you're feeling uninspired.

I went through a phase in May where I just lost my groove and struggled to find the motivation to blog (we've all been there). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE blogging as it brings me a lot of joy, but May just wasn't my month. I still managed to pump out blog posts and kept to my regular schedule (three posts a week) so if you didn't quite get around to reading them, you can catch up right here.
