Brand Focus | Bourjois

It's been a couple of months since I had published a brand focus so I'm here today to bring you another. Priceline have stocked Bourjois for as long as I can remember, with them having a slightly higher price point than other well-known drugstore brands like Rimmel and Maybelline. I think the very first product of theirs I bought was a concealer pot which I'm fairly certain they don't stock anymore (that's how long ago it was!), but today I do have a bunch of makeup items that are very much available and are also my personal favourites from this French brand.

This bottle of liquid pearlescent pigment illuminates your facial features (cheekbones, brow bones and cupid's bow) with its lightweight formula for a light reflecting glow. It has a silvery-pink finish that I find complements my fair skin wonderfully, and it truly looks beautiful layered under your foundation. A little goes a very long way and the only negative I have is that the pump dispenses too much product which just becomes wasteful. If you're all about the strobing technique or you're looking for a reasonably priced liquid highlighter, I think this one is worth checking out!

This liquid lippie applies like butter and is really opaque so it never looks patchy on the lips. It dries down to a complete matte finish and feels just like velvet! 'Grand Cru' is a classic deep red shade that I like to wear with a simple makeup look and fluttery false lashes, when I'm wanting to look put together for dinner or cocktails. It holds up quite well with minimal touch ups and you don't notice it on your lips whatsoever.

I used this mascara for weeks on end because it gave me such great results every time and the formula is one of my absolute favourites (not too wet or too dry!). The wand coats my lashes beautifully and evenly without clumping together. It gives me good volume and length and it is definitely one of those mascaras that I would repurchase again!

I love how healthy and radiant my complexion looks when I wear this foundation. It's formulated with a mix of skin loving ingredients and it feels SO comfortable on the skin. It blends like a dream and it covers my skin imperfections really well for a flawless finish (you can catch my full review here). If you have a drier skin type or you prefer more of a glowy base, then I think you'll really enjoy this one!

Do you have any Bourjois favourites?
