A Weekend Pamper Routine

It is so important to take some time away from our busy lives and focus on ourselves, because we all need a break from time to time to just recharge; and what better way to do so than to dedicate the entire weekend to pampering myself.

LUSH KARMA BUBBLE BAR

This orange ball of goodness is the lucky last one in my Christmas gift box from last year (cries), and it has a spicy yet sweet scent to it which I wasn't sure about at first whiff but it grew on me! The patchouli (a great mood booster) and orange oil have such an uplifting and feel-good vibe that instantly made me feel content. You can crumble a little bit of it at a time or throw it all into the tub which is precisely what I did because I just wanted to saturate my skin in all of it!

L'OREAL PURE CLAY MASK

I like to use a face mask at least twice a week with my problematic skin and L'Oreal's 'Detoxifying + Brightening' mask contains charcoal to help draw out impurities for a clearer complexion. I own all three from the range with their 'Purifying + Mattifying' being my favourite during warmer months and the 'Exfoliating + Smoothing' does a fantastic job at buffing away dead skin. I'm a big fan of these because they actually work and when my skin looks good, I feel good.

LUSH SILKY UNDERWEAR

This is what I use after baths in place of a body moisturiser and despite the fact that it's kind of messy to apply, this dusting powder leaves my skin feeling very smooth and soft. It has a lovely jasmine and cocoa scent that isn't too in your face, so you're not walking around smelling like a huge floral chocolate bomb (yuck). I also received this in a gift set and although it's a really cute product, I more than likely wouldn't purchase it for myself simply because it's awkward to apply all over the body and the powder gets everywhere.

L'OREAL COLOUR RICHE LE VERNIS A L'HUILE

I always feel better when my nails are polished and with Spring in full swing, 'Jardin Des Roses' was speaking to me. The consistency of the formula is absolutely perfect (not too thick or too thin), and applies evenly over the nails without any sort of streaking. It's one of those shades that just brightens your day and makes you feel really feminine, and there's nothing like a pretty pink to get into the season.
