The Brow Edit

Well-groomed brows really frame your face and make you look more put together, which is why it's a step in my makeup routine that I never like to miss as it makes such a huge difference. So whether you love a sharp bold brow or a soft natural brow, these 5 products will help to keep them looking in tip-top shape.

The fine precision tip of BH Cosmetics Studio Pro HD Brow Pencil makes it so easy to fill in your brows and takes no time at all. I personally prefer small brow pencils because it allows me to have more control over the shaping and defining of my brows. You also have a spooley on the other end to blend in the product and tidy up your brow hairs. It's a great product for the price and really handy for travelling or use on-the-go. I've also read that it's a dupe for the Brow Wiz by Anastasia Beverly Hills but for a fraction of the price, and who doesn't love to save money?

For any of you who are blessed with perfect brows (lucky you!), Essence's Lash and Brow Gel Mascara is right up your alley. I like to use it either alone for a very natural look as it's a transparent gel or after I have filled in my brows to set them in place all day long. What I like most about this product is that it doesn't leave my eyebrows feeling hard and crunchy which some brow mascaras can do, so this is a definite winner.

When I'm going for a heavier nighttime makeup look, I reach for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde for a more sculpted brow. It is incredibly smooth to apply and the formulation is highly pigmented so be sure to use a tiny amount at first to avoid overdoing it, and then build it up to your liking. It's very long lasting and never smudges so I know I can always rely on it to stay put all night long. They have a wide range of shades to choose from as well so there is bound to be something to suit you.

I finally managed to give the Gimme Brow a try after being years late to the party and I have truly been missing out! It does a brilliant job at giving my brows are fuller effect with the tiny fibers and adds a lovely tint to them without looking over the top. I can see why this product is so hyped up, it's pretty amazing. I am also really loving the look of the new products from the brow range that they have released, and the packaging is just gorgeous. Brow gels are an absolute must-have in my makeup bag because they help to pull your overall makeup look together. And without it, my fair brows are almost non existent so thank goodness for brow products!

An absolute steal of a brow product is the Santee Eyebrow Sword Pencil that I picked up from Shop Miss A a while back. For under $2, I didn't have high expectations but the quality really impressed me! The slanted tip is easy to work with and you don't have to worry about sharpening it as it's a wind up pencil. The texture is quite creamy which is nice so it doesn't pull or drag across the eyebrow. These are always out of stock so if you're on the hunt for a dirt cheap brow product, be sure to get your hands on this one stat.
