Skincare on Trial

Sukin. The Aussie skincare brand where their products are formulated without nasties (like artificial colours and synthetic fragrances to name a few), contain naturally derived ingredients, are cruelty free and vegan friendly. I've been putting these three products to the test this past 10 days and since their Purely Ageless line has gone through a bit of a revamp, I thought now would be the perfect time to share my thoughts so far.

INTENSIVE FIRMING SERUM

Like quite a few of Sukin's products that I've used in the past, there is a lovely scent of cocoa butter that flows through each of these three products which provides your skin with maximum hydration while still feeling lightweight on the skin. The gel-cream formula is rich in wonderful skin loving ingredients including argan, acacia, hibiscus and goji that help to firm and soften the skin. After cleansing and toning I'll apply a pump or two of this serum to my face, neck and décolletage as part of my day time skincare routine, and I'll follow up with their Reviving Eye Cream.

REVIVING EYE CREAM

I've had an issue with dark under eyes for as long as I can remember and being so fair skinned it really stands out, but no matter what I use, they never truly disappear (do they ever though?). I can't say this makes a noticeable difference in that area, but it definitely does smooth and hydrate my under eyes for a more youthful appearance. As it's absorbing into the skin, you can feel a slight tightening effect around the eyes which I quite like. What I love most about this eye cream is that it's not heavy or greasy on the skin, and with ingredients like coffee, macadamia and rosehip, you know it's going to do great things over time. I like to use this in the AM and PM and so far so good!

RESTORATIVE NIGHT CREAM

I'm not certain if it's the serum, this night cream or both combined but my skin has been feeling more supple, softer and well hydrated lately. The texture of this cream is on the thicker and richer side compared to the previous two, but it doesn't feel heavy nor does it leave a film over my skin. It absorbs nicely and it is a very generous sized jar (120ml), so I won't be running out any time soon that's for sure! It's also jam packed with beautiful ingredients that your skin will thank you for and I just know that it's going to be very well used come Winter.

Have you tried any products by Sukin?
