The Revlon Eyes, Cheeks + Lips Palette

A palette that has your lips, eyes and cheeks sorted? Yes please! I am all for products that keep my makeup bag light and travel friendly which is where these come in. Today I'll be giving you a closer look at these three palettes and I will also be sharing my thoughts on the overall quality.

ROMANTIC NUDES

The shades in this palette are everything I love; you've got your soft shimmers that are very on the neutral side of the scale, and pretty pinks to give your pout a gorgeous wash of colour. Sure the shades look stunning but unfortunately the pigmentation is a let down. Some of the eyeshadows are okay to use if you're after a subtle look, and others really don't swatch well or pick up any colour on the brush at all. However, what I did find is wetting your brush actually helps to bring out the pigment a little better. Four out of the six shades work well for me (gold, taupe and deep browns), but the top two lighter shades are a complete miss. As far as the lip colours go, they're not bad. They are not sticky which is a great but they lack vibrancy. The blush shade doesn't show up on my cheeks whatsoever which never happens considering how fair skinned I am. Overall, I'm quite disappointed. I expected much more but it just didn't deliver, which is a shame because the shades look so damn pretty.

SEDUCTIVE SMOKIES

I personally don't gravitate towards the traditional silver, grey and black shades when I'm creating a smokey eye, which are all the kind of cool toned shades this particular palette contains. Again, the top two lighter shades lack pigment but the darker shades are usable. The red lip colour is lovely and vibrant but the red/brown across from it is quite sheer. Same deal with the blush, it just doesn't have the best colour pay off.

BERRY IN LOVE

The title of this palette is just the cutest and the shades really remind me of Valentine's Day. I was truly hoping that the third time would be a charm but in just wasn't the case. I really wanted to love this palette because the shades are definitely up my alley but just like the previous two, it didn't wow me. I like the colour combinations they have chosen, I think they'd work very well for a pretty and sultry date night makeup look. I just wish the pigmentation was there because these three palettes have the potential to be absolutely beautiful.

What are your thoughts on these palettes?
