January Favourites

Hi lovelies! Hope 2016 has been off to a great start!
January has come to an end so here I am sharing with you what products I've been loving throughout the month including swatches, so lets get into it!

NYX Round Lipstick - Minimalism

NYX has got to be one of my favourite drugstore brands and these Round Lipsticks are amazing.
Minimalism is a beautiful pinky-nude shade that works well for my light skin tone. It's nice that there are more nude toned lipsticks out on the shelves to accommodate us fair skin girls.

They don't have the best staying power but that doesn't bother me in the slightest because the quality is great for the price. I like to use a lip liner under these lipsticks and it helps to prolong the wear of them.
The formula is so creamy and opaque, I would definitely recommend them to anyone and they have a vast colour selection from light, dark and in between. NYX has you covered no matter what shade you're looking for.

Klara Cosmetics Matte Eye Shadow - Juicy Peach

I've been loving this peach toned eye shadow for the Summer season and it's an absolutely gorgeous colour for blue eyes.
I like to use it all over my lid and lower lash line for a soft, Summery look and the pigmentation is just lovely.
There are 28 stunning shades in the matte collection so there is a colour for everyone.

Australis Mineral Liquid Highlighter - Pearl

I like to mix this in with my foundation to give me that dewy, healthy glow to my skin and it does a beautiful job.
I went for the shade Pearl because I just personally prefer a cooler toned highlight for my fair skin. It's a sliver-pink shade and once blended, it looks stunning on the skin. I can see why this is one of their best sellers.
It's packed with skin loving ingredients such as Vitamin E, Bilberry, Sugar Cane, Sugar Maple, Orange and Lemon.
I love Australis as a brand, they produce amazing quality products, they're good for your skin, not tested on animals, vegan friendly and they're well priced.

Naobay Moisturizing Peeling Brightening Facial Milk Scrub

I received this facial scrub in December's Lust Have It pack and I've been really enjoying it.
It's very gentle on the skin so I wasn't sure about it at first because I tend to go for more of a gritty exfoliant, but within the first week it started to grow on me.
98% of the ingredients used are of natural origin and 29% have come from organic farming. You can smell how fresh and natural this scrub is and my skin feels oh so soft when I use it.
A lovely facial scrub if you have more of a sensitive skin type or if you just prefer to use natural and organic skincare products.

Essence All About Roses Eye Shadow Palette

I mentioned this palette in my Top 10 Under $10 blog post and it has been well loved throughout January.
I was very impressed by the quality of this palette by Essence and it's an absolute winner.
The shades themselves are beautiful and very easy to blend with barely any fallout.
The white shades are perfect as a brow and inner corner highlight. I've even used the shimmery white as a cheekbone highlight and it's gorgeous. The brown toned shades work well to create a sultry, smoky eye for a night time look.

You've got matte and shimmer shades, whites, browns and mauves so it's a versatile palette for creating a very sweet and pretty day to night look.

I hope you enjoyed my January favourites and thanks so much for reading.
Don't forget to give it a +1 and be sure to follow me for daily blog posts.

Stay beautiful!
