Non-touring has been the latest trending makeup technique going around lately and it's actually easily achievable. Soft, natural and glowy skin is what it's all about, so here are 5 makeup products that are perfect for nailing this look, that even the most amateur of makeup skills can master.
To start this look off, you'll need a primer that will give your skin a 'lit from within' radiance. A great inexpensive one is the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer, it's hydrating and creates a smooth base for makeup application. Another thing about this primer that I absolutely love, is that it brightens up your complexion very nicely without looking shiny or feeling heavy and greasy on the skin. Now if you're one of the lucky ones who has amazingly flawless skin (I envy you), you can totally wear this primer alone and follow up with a touch of highlighter to complete the non-touring look.
As for us who aren't so blessed with flawless skin, the next step is applying a BB/CC cream to even out your skin tone and hide any imperfections. I think Chi Chi's Super CC Cream makes a gorgeous base for this makeup look, as it also adds a radiant and healthy look to your complexion. The lightweight formula blends beautifully into the skin without it looking cakey, and it is just loaded with skin loving ingredients. Less is more when it comes to this technique because you want your skin to look as natural as possible, so if you have any breakouts or freckles still peeking through it ain't no thing!
If you have dark under eye circles, by all means go ahead and conceal the heck out of them because it's certainly not a pretty look! My VERY well-loved NYX HD Concealer Wand is my go-to for correcting my dark under eyes, because it just never creases on me and it always looks flawless. What makes this concealer even more amazing is the extensive shade range so they accommodate all skin tones, and Porcelain (light with blue undertones) is fantastic for any of you fair skinned girls out there!
When it comes to face powder, you really only need a very light dusting over your t-zone (more so if you have an oily skin type) because you want to keep that dewy, radiant look. The Cocoa Powder Foundation by Too Faced is incredibly silky soft in texture and leaves you with a lovely rose petal finish, so it doesn't leave your skin looking overly matte. It helps to blur out your imperfections, sets your makeup in place for long lasting results and it smells delicious!
The last crucial step in perfecting the non-touring trend is of course highlighter. You want to keep it more soft and subtle by placing it where the light would naturally hit your face - cheekbones, forehead, nose, chin and your cupids bow. I've been really liking Australis Mineral Liquid Highlighter in Pearl (frosty-pink) for this particular look because it illuminates your complexion without it looking over the top or glittery. It really adds that finishing touch to your makeup and ties is all together beautifully.
Have you tried the non-touring technique?
