April Favourites

April really flew by for me and it was quite a productive month with all the last minute holiday planning and having my blog posts ready to go while I'm away. Through all the busyness, I found some time to love 5 new beauty and makeup products that I'm very excited to share with you!

After all the rage, I finally got my hands on the Chocolate Salted Caramel Eyeshadow Palette. My gosh it is amazing! If the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes are out of your budget, I highly recommend this one by Makeup Revolution. I don't own them unfortunately so I can't give you a complete comparison between the two however, the shades look extremely similar. The quality of the shadows are incredible; Very opaque and buttery in texture, it truly was love at first swatch. Makeup Revolution never fail to impress me, I am obsessed!

I don't own many products by Revlon so I thought it was time to change that. I picked up one of their Ultra HD Lip Lacquers in Smoky Topaz and I'm really liking it! It is a lovely nude shade with a subtle shimmer throughout which gives your lips some dimension. You can wear it alone or over the top of your favourite lipstick but I like to use it with a lip liner and it's great. The consistency isn't too thick and sticky which is nice and it leaves a lovely shine to your lips as well.

I've been battling acne for over a year now and I've tried all sorts of things but nothing has helped at all. After reading some great reviews on the Glycolic Acid Oily Skin Daytime Light Cream Moisturiser by Reviva Labs, I thought I would give it a try for myself. Within a week, I saw a significant improvement with my skin. I did not get a single cystic zit while using this face cream and it dramatically reduced the amount of pimples that were popping up on my skin. I am one very happy lady because I have not found anything that has given me such consistent, outstanding results until this cream came into my life!

I hadn't heard much about Chantecaille and their Lip Sheers looked gorgeous! Pluto is a sheer burgundy shade and I love the subtle shine that it leaves on my lips. It's very comfortable to wear as it contains Vitamin A, and the colour pay off is pretty decent for a sheer lipstick! So far I'm impressed by this brand and I would love to suss out more of their makeup.

The Kate Sculpting Palette is a new release by Rimmel and Coral Glow is absolutely beautiful. You have a highlight, contour and a blush which are all shimmery which would make this the perfect little palette for Summer time. They are so soft and highly pigmented, I can see why everyone is loving it! The highlighter is a lovely champagne/gold shade and I adore it. I like to lightly sweep it across my cheekbones and it gives me a gorgeous, healthy glow. I know shimmery contour shades aren't everyone's cup of tea, but if you're looking for a drugstore one then I think this is definitely worth checking out.
