Mecca Max are here with another drool-worthy eye and face palette, so queue Hilary Duff's What Dreams Are Made Of because it is exactly that. Filled with flattering highlighters, marbled shimmers, warm neutrals and pops of colour, this palette will excite ANY beauty junkie.
At first I thought this was another limited edition number like their previous palettes (hence why I rushed out to snag one!), however it looks to be a permanent palette to the Mecca Max collection which is great.
Angels are literally singing when you open this beaut to reveal its glorious shade selection and finishes that are versatile for use anywhere on your face. The generous sized pans allow you to dip your fluffiest blush and bronzer brushes which I really appreciate too.
My favourite things about the 'queen' series palettes is the amazing value for money (only sets you back $38), the versatility and the buttery, highly pigmented formulas that blend with ease across the skin.
The shade range is so far up my alley, I get excited just looking at them and I (almost) don't want to use them with how beautiful they look. There are two shades in total that I know won't get as much love and attention like 'Mirage' (fire engine red) and 'Darling' (shimmery plum), simply because they're quite bold for my liking/complexion but I do like having those colourful options and I think they would look particularly pretty on deeper skin tones.
I can see myself wearing the six shades in the first two columns to absolute death for everyday or soft makeup looks. 'Daze' is a stunning glimmering highlighter that'll really make your cheekbones pop and 'Hazy' and 'Wonder' are my ideal blush shades, mixed with a dusting of 'Dazzle' (marbled pink) for a touch of shimmer to the cheeks.
'Peace' is your warm toned matte bronzer and if you wanted to go for the J-Lo glow, you can totally enhance it with 'Fantasy' for a golden sheen. Subtle, sultry, smokey, glam, the possibilities are endless with such an array of tones and finishes to suit your mood. Such a dreamy, lovable palette and a definite must-buy!
