I've been curious about the brand W7 so I picked up 5 different makeup products from their range to share with you guys. For those of you who aren't familiar with the brand, they are based in the UK and offer a great variety of affordable makeup that you can find at your local Chemist Warehouse.
The Hollywood Bronze & Glow was one that I was most excited to try as I've read that it's a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury's Filmstar Bronze & Glow. The highlighter is a lovely gold/champagne shade that looks beautiful on the skin. The bronzer is warm toned and also shimmery, so these two make a perfect pair for wearing during Summer because it'll just give you that sunkissed glow. Both shades are nicely pigmented which was a pleasant surprise and they blend very well. Super impressed by the quality and I think it's a real winner!
Next up is the In The City Natural Nudes Eye Colour Palette which has also been said to be a dupe for the Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette by Urban Decay, but for a fraction of the price. First of all I really like the sturdy tin packaging, it makes it great for travelling. It comes with 6 matte shades from light to dark, so you can easily transform your eye look from day to night. Great colour pay off and the shadows are really soft in texture. I'm liking this little palette and you just can't go wrong for the price.
Candy Dream from the Kiss Lipsticks Pinks range smells straight up like bubblegum and the packaging is adorable. The scent is a bit overwhelming and sweet but once you apply it you don't notice it. It's a frosty pink shade that is quite shimmery. I think it'll look amazing with certain makeup looks but it's not a lipstick I would wear often so I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it. It is beautifully pigmented though and comfortable to wear on the lips. It's not an awful product but for me personally, there are other lipsticks that I much prefer.
I've always wanted to try out a concealer quad but I just felt that they would be overly creamy and therefore crease like crazy, but the Hide 'N' Seek Colour Correcting Concealer Quad isn't too bad. You have a green shade to counteract redness, a regular concealer, a yellow shade for dark circles and a highlighter. All 4 of the shades are cream based however they're not too heavy and thick in consistency which I really like. I've found that if I use too much it can cake up a bit so that's something to be careful of. And be sure to set it with a powder to prevent any creasing, especially around the eye area.
The lucky last item I have for you is the Night Glow Liquid Illuminator. I'm a big fan of the bottled highlighters with the brush applicator, they're so handy for use on the go. All you do is sweep it along your cheekbones, forehead and down the center of your nose and blend it in with your fingertips. Apply a small amount for a subtle glow or build it up for a more intense radiant look.
Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post!
