Hello lovelies and welcome back to my blog! As you guys may know, I spent the majority of May in the USA and I am very happy to be back home sharing with you what I was loving throughout the month of May!
I couldn't wait to get my hands on Maybelline's new Dream Velvet Foundation which has not been released here in Australia as of yet. I must say, I'm a fan! First of all I love the wide range of shades that are available, and Warm Porcelain is the perfect match for my skin tone. It offers medium coverage and does a great job at camouflaging redness and imperfections. What I love most about this foundation is the soft-matte finish and the fact that it doesn't cling to dry patches. This was pretty much the only foundation I wore while I was away and I definitely recommend it!
This little cosmetic bag with pink and black and white stripes really caught my eye while I was in Primark, and it was exactly what I needed to hold all the bits and pieces I bought along the way. I love the vibrant, bold colours and the gold flamingo in the center. It's simple yet girly. It also holds a fair bit surprisingly! It has become my absolute favourite makeup bag and I don't think I'll be getting sick of it any time soon!
I have been truly obsessed with the HD Photogenic Concealer Wand by NYX. It's not easy finding a drugstore concealer that isn't too yellow or too pink for my fair skin, and the shade Porcelain is just perfection. It doesn't cake up under my eyes or anywhere on my skin and the coverage is amazing! The search is over, and I think I may have found my ultimate go-to drugstore concealer!
I've never really been about self help or personal development books however, Daring and Disruptive by Lisa Messenger had me intrigued. In this book, Lisa shares her personal stories and lessons she has learnt along the way of being an entrepreneur. I found it to be a truly inspiring and helpful read. It is so honest and insightful, I thoroughly enjoyed it. A great book if you're someone who has big dreams and ideas, and just wants to succeed in life.
I was blown away by the pigmentation of Wet n Wild's MegaGlo Illuminating Palette! You have 4 stunning iridescent shimmer shades that look amazing on the skin. An absolute steal for the price! Each shade can be worn alone or you can mix all 4 and apply it as a blush. Super impressed by this palette, it's a great quality drugstore product.
Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed my May favourites!
