A Mood-Boosting Peachy Makeup Look

Peach has been the "it" shade for quite a while now and I couldn't be happier because not only does it flatter fair skin tones, it's also one of those feel-good colours to wear.

'Rich Clay' adds a subtle pop of colour along the upper lash line which I've found to be a great way to incorporate vibrant eye makeup when going all out seems scary (I know I'm not game enough to rock a full blown colourful look). The pencil itself has a lovely creamy gel-like consistency making it a breeze to draw along the eyes without it dragging or tugging. If you have blue eyes, this terracotta shade will truly make them pop!

It's literally taken me this long to try a Benefit blush and while I was scanning their display at Sephora, 'Georgia' really stood out from the rest. The warm peachy hue this gives my cheeks is absolutely beautiful and the golden shimmer adds such a natural sunkissed sheen which would look even better used in conjunction with a bronzer for the ultimate summery look. It is quite sheer to begin with but it is buildable so you can add as much or as little as your heart desires. I love how it looks against my fair complexion and I also like to sweep it across my eyelids to add a soft wash of colour which really ties the look together.

Three words; juicy, buttery, peachy. I don't know about you guys but for me that is the epitome of a great lippie and it makes me excited to wear it. With a name like 'Dewy Peach' it already sounds delicious and it looks just like that on the lips too. It applies like butter over the lips and the blend of aloe and hyaluronic acid leaves my lips feeling incredibly soft. The shade adds a subtle pop of peach which I find to be very flattering and it's also super wearable for day to day. I wasn't sure about the rose quartz shimmer at first, however I've grown to really like the subtle effect and how it adds a little dimension to the lips.

The sweet aroma of peach alone is enough to lift your mood and this much-loved foundation never fails to make my complexion look amazing. It does a wonderful job at covering my imperfections and evening out my skin tone without it looking cakey or separating throughout the day, so it definitely holds up well with my oily skin type and high Summer temperatures. The addition of sweet fig cream provides a dose of hydration to the skin so while it is a matte foundation, it still feels comfortable to wear and not drying whatsoever (catch my in-depth review here).
