My Spring Beauty Lineup

It has been a gloriously sunny start to Spring which has had me ravaging through my beauty stash sooner than I anticipated to get into the spirit of my favourite season. I have officially ditched the deep tones of Winter and opted for bright, fresh colour in my lineup with the addition of some glowy products of course!

NYX OMBRÉ BLUSH

A pop of colour on the cheeks is the ultimate Spring look for me and with a shade name like 'Sweet Spring' I obviously had to include it in my lineup. The gradient effect is quite pretty how it transitions from a cool to warm toned pink and although it looks very vivid in the pan (the fear of looking like a clown was real), it isn't overly pigmented so it actually added a lovely flush to the cheeks. I personally prefer that as it allows me to have complete control over the intensity and it does a great job at livening up my complexion for that youthful, pinched cheek look. The silky smooth powder applies beautifully over the skin too!

REVLON ENDLESS GLOW LIQUID HIGHLIGHTER

First of all, the doe foot applicator is massive which I suppose is a good thing if you want to drench your entire face (and body) in highlighter because who doesn't? 'Citrine' is this pearly prismatic pale gold that adds an intense sheen to the skin, so a light hand is a must (unless you're going for an extra terrestrial glow then by all means go nuts!). It dries from a creamy consistency to a powder and can easily be layered to intensify it. I like to sheer it out ever so slightly with a damp makeup sponge for a more seamless natural look and the results are a gorgeous light catching glow.

THE BODY SHOP BRITISH ROSE MASK

Since my skincare routine revolves around products that mattify and control shine, at least once a week I like to re-plump my skin and reveal its natural dewy glow again. This Fresh Plumping Mask has been getting a lot more attention lately to achieve that springtime lit-from-within glow and it is such a joy to use. It has a delicate rose scent that I find to be very spa-like (it's also infused with rose petals which adds to the at-home facial experience), and the lightweight gel texture feels SO good on the skin! The way it softens, hydrates and revives my complexion is incredible and I simply cannot recommend it enough.

L'ORÉAL SHINE ADDICTION LIPSTICK

My Spring beauty lineup isn't complete without a bright, juicy lip colour like 'High On Craze' from L'Oréal's Colour Riche Shine Addiction range. I find this peachy coral tone to be really flattering against my skin tone and I like that it isn't bright neon which makes it much more wearable. The balmy texture glides over the lips like butter and keeps them hydrated all day long. The rich pigmentation of a lipstick with the finish of a gloss (similar to the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lippies) makes for a luxe combination.
