Brand Focus | Nude by Nature

Years ago mineral makeup gained a lot of popularity in the wide world of beauty once we found out that they are much better for the skin than traditional makeup products. Around that time was when I discovered the Australian brand called Nude by Nature, which is all about providing products that are free of toxins and chemicals so we can look and feel good while celebrating our natural beauty. Here is an in-depth look into the brand as well as four of their beautiful products from their makeup range.

TOUCH OF GLOW HIGHLIGHT STICK

A touch of glow is exactly right with this highlighting stick! I love wearing the shade 'Champagne' over the high points of my face and it gives my complexion the most gorgeous luminous look. I was slightly worried that it would be very thick and heavy in texture but it's the total opposite! These highlight sticks have a cream to powder formula that glides over the skin with ease and are super lightweight, so it doesn't leave a nasty greasy residue behind. The packaging is very travel friendly as well and I just adore the metallic rose gold finish - it's really on trend and a definite eye catcher.

CONTOUR PALETTE

This little palette comes with a trio of shades - a bronzer, contour and highlight that I think are spot on in terms of colour. The contour shade has the right amount of grey to give your cheekbones that natural shadow, the bronzer isn't too warm toned for my fair skin and the highlight shade is amazing also. It's like this palette was specifically made for me because each shade just works, and I don't need to dip my brush into other products to get the shade I'm looking for. The contour and bronzer shades aren't heavily pigmented but I actually quite like that because it gives me more control and I can always build it up if need be. Everything about this palette is amazing and I highly suggest checking it out.

EYESHADOW TRIO

You guys know me, I love my neutrals when it comes to eyeshadow because they're so versatile and you just can't go wrong. I honestly expected more from the 'Nude' palette but it was a bit of a let down as far as pigmentation goes. The two matte brown shades are okay, but the pale pink shimmery shade was very underwhelming as it doesn't have the same silky texture and the brush just doesn't pick up any product whatsoever - I couldn't even get a good swatch of it either. It's a shame because it's such a cute palette and it would've made a great addition to my makeup bag, but unfortunately this particular trio is a miss.

SHEER GLOW BB CREAM

If I'm having an amazing skin day, I'll wear this BB cream as my base for a light makeup look during the day. The coverage is quite sheer (like most BB creams) and it helps to even out my skin tone while giving me a healthy glow. It is jam-packed with lovely native ingredients like kakadu plum to nourish the skin and help fight the visible signs of ageing. I'd also love to get my hands on their Natural Mineral Cover Foundation to wear in conjunction with this BB cream for the ultimate natural skin finish, which is very in right now!
