Today I have a review on Maybelline's newest foundation and it's their Fit Me! Matte + Poreless. I'll be sharing with you my thoughts and opinions on this foundation and if I'd recommend it. So if you're thinking about purchasing it for yourself but want to know more about it, then just keep on reading!
Description
Fit Me! Matte + Poreless by Maybelline New York goes beyond skin tone matching to fit the unique texture issues of normal to oily skin for the ultimate natural skin fit. While some foundations can exaggerate pores and oily skin, only our pore-minimising foundation contains our genius blurring micro-powders that erase pores and absorb oil for a naturally matte and poreless-looking finish.

The packaging looks good, nice glass bottle which gives it an expensive feel. As soon as I unscrewed the lid, it was pump-less. If there's one thing I really dislike about foundations, it's when they don't come with a pump dispenser. It just becomes wasteful and at times messy because you cannot control the amount of foundation you want to use which makes it so easy to over-pour.
The consistency of the foundation is not too thick, not too thin but just in between. I picked up the shade Ivory (that was the lightest shade my local Priceline stocked at the time) and the colour is a little bit off for my skin tone, no matter because they do have a lighter shade in Porcelain.
The coverage is definitely buildable. I'd say it's a medium to full coverage foundation. It covers extremely well. If you have blemishes you may need to add some concealer just on those areas alone. But it covers pigmentation and redness all on its own. It didn't sink into my pores and it also didn't feel too heavy on my skin.
There was a slight bit of shine peeking through but not enough for me to have to blot. I do have oily skin so for a foundation to still look almost perfect after 8 hours of wear is really impressive. It didn't rub off or become patchy on any areas of my face throughout the day either.

Apart from the wrong shade, I will definitely be hunting down the lighter shade because I absolutely love it! I can honestly overlook the whole no pump situation because of how much this foundation has blown me away.
I would 100% recommend this foundation to anyone with combination-oily skin, large pores or if you just prefer a matte look. Two big thumbs up on Maybelline's Fit Me! Matte + Poreless foundation!
Have you tried this foundation? What do you think of it?
