Top 5 Under $5

Hi lovelies, hope you're having a wonderful day!

Today's post is my top 5 makeup products for under $5.
Some people may think because it's cheap, it's bad quality or because it's expensive, it's good quality and that isn't always the case.
You'll be surprised by the quality of some inexpensive makeup, I know I was!
So if you're on a budget or if you'd like to start out with makeup, I have a few good ones to share with you so I hope you enjoy!

Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Easy Going

I was pleasantly surprised by the formula of their nail polishes.
It's easy to apply and the brush is great too!
I own a fair few of their polishes and I love each one.
Two coats of application is all you need as they're really opaque.
It lasts just as long as any regular nail polish and they also come in a wide range of colours from cream finishes to glitters to metallics.

You can achieve beautiful nails with this brand and they're so affordable!

OXX Eye Quad

OXX is exclusive to Kmart and all their products are $2.
They also have lip products, eye pencils and blushes in their collection.
The eye shadow quad is perfect for any skin tone, the shades are very neutral and quite pigmented.
Not to mention that it's great value for money!

You could almost create a full face of makeup with their products while keeping your wallet happy!

Essence Get BIG! Lashes Volume Boost Mascara

Essence are a fantastic brand of makeup.
Very affordable and good quality.
They have a lot of mascaras to choose from. Whether you're wanting curl, definition, volume or waterproof, they have it all!

e.l.f. Essential Hypershine Gloss in Flirt

A lovely lip gloss that would look beautiful over any lip colour or just as is for a bit of a tinted, glossy shine.
The formula is a bit thick but it is long lasting and not too sticky on the lips either.
They have a great colour selection to choose from as well.

Very well worth the price.

Essence Longlasting Lipstick in Natural Beauty

Very moisturising and comfortable to wear on the lips.
Perfect for any occasion, day or night and would suit any makeup look as it's more of a natural shade lip colour.
If you're looking for an affordable lip colour, definitely check out Essence's lipstick range!

BIG Haul! BH Cosmetics

Hi lovelies, welcome back to my blog!
I've heard good things about BH Cosmetics so here I am with a haul for you so I hope you enjoy!

Studio Pro HD Foundation

This will be a good one for for nights out and photography.
It has an oil-free and water resistant formula with light diffusing pigments that gives you a soft focus effect.
Coverage is buildable as well.
They come in 10 shades too which is pretty good.
I purchased the shade 103.

12 Piece Classic Brush Set

This set contains quite a few different eye brushes, a blush brush, powder brush and even a fan brush.
The bristles are synthetic and so soft!
They also come in a snap closure case which is handy for travelling.

Long Sexxy Lashes - Lengthening Mascara

It has an hourglass shaped brush with short-medium bristles to help lift and separate your lashes.
I haven't used it just yet so I'm excited to try it out!

Studio Pro Anti-Shine Primer

As you guys may know, I have oily skin so I picked up the Anti-Shine primer to mattify my skin.
It's a lightweight gel that helps to keep my makeup shine free and reduces the appearance of pores.
I have used it and so far I like it.
If you're looking for a mattifying primer, give this a try.

Sculpt & Blend - 10 Piece Brush Set

I was looking for a new set of face brushes and these were just what I was looking for!
They're used for contouring, shading, highlighting and blending.
The bristles are also synthetic which I love.
They just feel so soft and smooth on your face.
The bristles don't shed either so you know they're a good quality brush.

Studio Pro Matte Finish Pressed Powder

Light-medium coverage powder that's good for absorbing excess oil on your skin and keeping you matte all day long.

Great for blotting throughout the day as well!
I picked up the shade 205.

Floral Blush Duo in Daisy

Swatching the shades on their own look beautiful.
Once you mix the two to use as a blush, it creates this stunning peach toned shade with a subtle glow that's just perfect for spring!
You can use the shades separately if you like.
I love the packaging. It makes you happy just by looking it at!
They come in 4 other shades and they all look very pretty.

Forever Nude Sculpt & Glow Contouring Kit in Light/Medium

Having fair skin means contouring can become disastrous if you're aren't super careful.
I like that this palette comes in two shades, light/medium and medium/deep to suit most skin tones.
The highlight shade isn't full of chunky glitter which is nice.
I'm looking forward to using this palette!

Dark Rose Eyeshadow, Blush and Liquid Eyeliner Palette

I received this palette free with my purchase which is amazing because it's a decent sized palette!
It's a very versatile palette.
You can easily switch your eye look from day to night with this.
There are 12 eyeshadows including matte and shimmers, 3 blushes and a black liquid eyeliner pen.
The colours are great and also highly pigmented.

Party Girl Twist Moisturising Balm Stick

It's very similar to a tinted lip balm.
Quick and easy to use if you need some colour on your lips.
They come in 10 shades, I have the shade Night Life.

Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase from BH Cosmetics.
I would definitely buy more of their products. I think the quality of their products are great, especially for the price.

My Morning Skincare Routine

Hello lovelies, hope you're all well!

Cleansing your skin in the morning is an important step to take as it removes any dead skin, dirt or build up that may have occurred overnight.

So today I'm sharing with you my morning skincare routine.
These skincare products are what I like to use each morning that help to prepare my skin for whatever the day may bring.

Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser

I love using this cleanser in the mornings.
It contains grapefruit, orange and tangerine extracts which really help to wake me up in the morning.
Not only that, it makes my skin feel refreshed and doesn't dry it out.
It also contains other skin loving ingredients such as, african red tea which helps to slow the aging process, borage seed oil that acts as an anti-inflammatory and vitamin c which stimulates collagen.
Smells lovely and it's just a great overall foaming cleanser.

St Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub

I love a good scrub which is the second step I like to take in my routine.
This one sits in the middle of the scale being a moderate exfoliant.
This one also has that citrus scent which I really like in the mornings. It brightens and polishes the skin with 100% natural extracts of pink lemon and mandarin.
Having acne prone skin, I like to use skincare products that contain citrus fruit extracts as they help to fade away spots that pimples leave behind.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturiser SPF 15

Even if you don't spend a lot of time outdoors, I would always recommend applying a moisturiser with an SPF.
Cetaphil's Daily Facial Moisturiser has a non greasy formula which is perfect because I really don't like that heavy greasy feeling that sunscreen can leave on my face.
It's non-comedogenic, therefore won't block pores and it's also free of fragrances.
Suitable for all skin types from sensitive to normal to oily.

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream To Brighten and Depuff

If you suffer from tired eyes or puffiness then this eye cream could be just what you need.
It's formulated with coffee beans, panax ginseng, magnolia extract and natural optic brighteners.
It certainly does help to brighten the eye area and make you look more awake.
I like to apply it just in the mornings but you can apply it whenever you feel like your eyes need it.

Hurraw! SPF Sun Balm

This is the final step I take in my morning skincare routine.
A good SPF lip balm to ensure the sun doesn't damage my lips.
This has a Sun Protection Factor of 15 and has tangerine, chamomile and vanilla to nourish and calm your lips.
It's also packed with cold pressed oils including red raspberry seed oil, sea buckthorn oil and pomegranate seed oil.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!
