December Favourites

Welcome to my final monthly favourites for 2016!
I feel like December came and went in a blink of an eye, but overall it's been a good month for me and I am very much looking forward to what the New Year will bring. Enough introductions and let's get on with the 4 beauty products I've been loving this December.

I've seen Natio around in my local Priceline and Myer for years but I never got around to trying out their products (until now), which I think is mainly due to the fact that they're not very talked about. I picked up their Blush & Bronze which looks absolutely gorgeous in the pan. 'Rosy Glow' has 5 shimmery shades for bronzing, blush and highlighting the face which makes your skin look SO luminous and perfect for Summer. Loving the sleek packaging and it also doesn't feel cheaply made like some other drugstore products. I'm all for supporting Aussie brands and I'm definitely eager to try more beauty products from their range.

Just recently I got through my second or third bottle of The Body Shop's Tea Tree Night Lotion. I do like it but I can't really say that it does all that much for my blemish prone skin, come to think of it I don't think tea tree does anything for my skin at all. So I parted ways and opted for something different like Simple's Anti-Blemish Moisturiser. I use this in conjunction with their face wash from the same Spotless Skin range, and I'm quite liking my new skin care routine. The zinc absorbs excess oils, chamomile soothes the skin while tapioca starch helps to keep me matte. Hopefully this moisturiser becomes my new go-to!

Nude By Nature have come out with these stunning rose gold packaged makeup products that I was immediately drawn to! Being the sucker I am for pretty packaging, I went for their Eyeshadow Trio in 'Rose' which is right up my alley. This little trio is so cute and comes with a pale pink, light peach and a warm toned brown shade for creating a neutral smokey eye. They are very soft to touch and the colour pay off is just lovely. It's really great for travelling and using on-the-go as well.

I usually wear nail polishes that go with the current season but Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel in 'Spice Age' (autumnal brown with fine gold specks), just had to go on my nails in time for New Year's Eve! It's VERY opaque so you could get away with applying one coat and be on your way. But the best thing of all is that it's a gel formula, so your mani will look top-notch for a lot longer than your standard polish. This shade really does give me major Autumn vibes but I'm loving it and it looks beautiful on the nails!
