Festive Glam Makeup Picks

I don't know about you guys but when it comes to my Christmas makeup, I like to go all out and glam-it-up with glitter everywhere and of course the traditional classic red lip. So here are my top picks for a festive and glamorous makeup look that will sure to make you sparkle this Christmas.

Not only do I like to wear daggy Christmas shirts and watch the cheesiest Christmas movies to get into the holiday spirit, but I also like to up the ante by giving myself a festive inspired mani. I love the Sinful Colors nail polish range - there is a colour to suit everyone, and the consistency of the formula is just spot on. A couple of my favourites for this time of year is 'Sugar Sugar' (red with gold flecks), 'Queen of Beauty' (silver glitter) and 'Koko-Nuts' (shimmery white with gold) from the Kylie Jenner collection

A good glow is a must for me which is why I like to use The Balm's best seller - Mary-Lou Manizer. It's a golden-champagne shade that looks absolutely stunning on all skin tones and will definitely make your cheekbones pop! Add as little or as much as you like, depending on how subtle or intense you like your highlight.

The Fabulous Palette from the Sephora Collection is a recent buy and it is SO cute. It's basically just a tiny eyeshadow palette with a gradient effect of 3 shimmery golden-bronze shades. The colour pay off is actually really lovely and would be perfect for packing in your travel makeup bag.

As I said, I just love to wear a traditional red lip this festive season, and Revlon's Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in the shade 'Passion' is a gorgeous deep berry-red that looks very flattering on the lips. It's very rich in pigmentation, feels like velvet and will stay put all the way through your Christmas lunch/dinner.

The lucky last makeup pick I have for you is more glitter (because there's no such thing as too much glitter). I like to use Chi Chi's Gold Glitter Eyeliner in the inner corners of my eyes or even under my bottom lash line for some dazzle. You could even apply this over your winged liner, which would look absolutely fab!

Hope you have a magical Christmas!
