What's New In My Makeup Stash | November

Being a beauty blogger and makeup junkie, I am constantly on the search for new products to try and boy do I have some new goodies to share with you today! Some are new to the drugstore shelves, others are just new to me so let's get into what's new in my makeup stash.

L'Oreal's True Match Foundation has been around for as long as I can remember, but I never actually got around to purchasing it until recently. 'Golden Ivory' is a touch too dark for my fair skin, but I just add a few drops of my trusty Shade Adjusting Drops by The Body Shop and I am good to go! What I absolutely LOVE about this foundation is the velvety consistency and how it makes my skin glow from within, as it has a golden luminosity in the formula. The coverage is fantastic and doesn't feel heavy on my skin whatsoever, so I am really liking this foundation thus far.

Brand new and limited edition from Australis is their Strobe Lights Illuminating Powders. This little palette contains a trio of highlighters (champagne, pink and gold) for adding an all over radiance to your complexion. I'm personally not too fond of glittery bits in my illuminators,  but other than that I think this is a nice palette and I know it will be getting a lot of use during the warm weather.

I'm not a heavy contour kinda gal which is why I like the NYX Cream Highlight & Contour Palette, because the colour pay off is quite light which actually works in my favour. So if you're a beginner or you just prefer a more subdued contour, then you may like this one. However, I did find the shades slightly hard to blend. It's certainly not an awful product and I will continue to use it, but I'd definitely suggest going for their extremely popular Highlight & Contour Pro Palette instead.

Maybelline's Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette is relatively new to the drugstore and the shades are absolutely gorgeous! Now some of the shades aren't very pigmented when swatched, BUT they work a treat with a wet brush as it enhances the vibrancy of the colours. I really like that it holds a mix of shimmer, matte, light and dark shades which makes it super easy to transform your daytime look to a dramatic nighttime look. If you're a lover of nude, rose gold and mauve tones then I think you will adore this pretty palette.

Another product that's new to the shelves and quite different from Rimmel is their Fresher Skin Foundation. I may be wrong but I can't recall seeing any of their foundations come in a jar/pot so I was very intrigued. It claims to have a breathable formula that doesn't clog pores and keeps you shine-free all day long. It certainly looks promising and I am yet to give this a proper try, so stay tuned for a full review!

I have been thoroughly enjoying the L'Oreal Blush Sculpt Trio in 'Soft Rosy' for a lovely springtime flush to the cheek. It has a pink and peach shade that leave a satin finish to the cheek where the lightest shade contains shimmer for a bit of a glow to the cheekbone. I'm pleasantly surprised by how soft and pigmented the shades are, so these blushes are a definite winner in my book!

Have you tried any of these products?
