Wardrobe Wishlist

Being a beauty blogger, a lot of my time is spent on what's trending in the wide world of beauty and makeup so I'm not always on top of the latest styles when it comes to fashion. One look at my wardrobe and I felt like I was missing out on all the ridiculously cool fashion trends happening all around me, so here are 6 clothing and accessory pieces that I am currently lusting over.

I love to incorporate different fabric styles into my outfit for example, pairing lace and leather, velvet and denim or even satin and chiffon. I've been very fond of lace up tops, I think they look really flattering. The Alice Lace Up Silky Pocket Shirt would make a great addition to anyone's wardrobe as you could easily dress it up or down, no matter what the occasion. You could loosen up the laces and wear it casually with a bralette or tighten up the laces for a more formal look and wear it to the office.

You know when you see something everywhere and it makes you want it that much more? Well, lace up flats have been flooding my Pinterest feed for months and they just look so nice! I found a gorgeous pair from Lipstik Shoes and what I like most about them is the pointed toe because for some strange reason, my feet don't comfortably fit into rounded toe flats (go figure). A black shoe is such a staple piece and I really like the gold detail on the heel and on the tips of the laces, I feel like it adds a special touch.

Another trend I have been seeing a fair bit lately is the 70's style suede skirts. Now I am not too keen on the tan colour with the buttons however I do like this dark pink Suede Zip Through Mini Skirt from River Island. This would go great with a high neck top and black strappy heels for a more casual day time outfit.

Spring isn't too far away now and you just cannot go past a Striped Belted Shirt Dress. I like that you can tie it up at the waste for more of a flattering fit and the midi length is quite nice for those days that aren't too hot or cold. I'm a big fan of casual, loose fitted dresses and I know I'll be getting a lot of use out of this one in the warmer months!

90% of my jackets are black so I felt like stepping out of my comfort zone and going for something a bit different like the Megan Geo Print Bomber from Boohoo. I'm liking the navy and white geometric print and even though it has an 80's vibe to it, I think it can totally work with a pair of skinny black ankle grazer jeans and a basic white top. I love a good bomber jacket so I'm happy to see that they're back with a twist.

When I came across the Stella Luxe Clip Frame Bag, I had love hearts for eyes (just like the emoji). It looks so sophisticated and classy and it would dress up your outfit in an instant. Absolutely adore the gold hardware against the black and the push closure clip adds an elegant touch. It's a limited edition piece which makes it that much more special and I think this would have to be my favourite. I always say, if you can't stop thinking about it, buy it.
