Winter is coming to an end here in the southern hemisphere - even though as I'm typing this it doesn't seem that way when it's raining and hailing right in front of me. But technically speaking, Spring is just around the corner so it's time that I share with you my transitional beauty products.
L'ORÉAL COLOUR RICHE LE VERNIS A L'HUILE
L'ORÉAL COLOUR RICHE LE VERNIS A L'HUILE
'Fuchsia Palace' is a vivid pink-purple that I've been waiting patiently to wear and gets me so excited for the arrival of Spring. This range is by far one of my favourites because they apply like a dream, they're fast drying and they last for days on my nails before any chipping occurs. I can see myself rocking this shade wearing a pretty floral dress and being the epitome of Spring!
KORRES WILD ROSE MOISTURISING & BRIGHTENING CREAM
This face cream gives my skin the right amount of moisture without feeling too heavy whilst absorbing excess oil, so it's perfect for combination and oily skin types. Because it's slightly richer in formula, this would make for a great nighttime moisturiser and it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft. The rose scent is just beautiful and instantly takes me back to my Spring visits to the rose garden.
RIMMEL THE ONLY 1 LIPSTICK
'It's A Keeper' isn't your typical Spring shade of lipstick but I like to ease myself into the season with this gorgeous soft nude mauve. I have such a soft spot for shades like this but what makes it a little different is the subtle frosted finish that looks really flattering on the lips. Rimmel have always impressed me with their lipsticks and lush formulas, so I highly suggest sussing them out for yourself.
L'ORÉAL TRUE MATCH BLUSH
Nothing says Spring quite like 'Rosy Cheeks' for that perfect pink flush and this shade is absolutely stunning! It has this sort of iridescence to it and gives those cheeks a healthy luminosity. I know I've said this a hundred times but my love for L'Oréal as a whole is pretty strong and they are just killing it with these beauty products!
VIKTOR & ROLF BONBON
I remember being gifted this perfume on Valentine's Day a few years ago and it was my very first luxury fragrance. The main note is caramel so it's very sweet, but it also has notes of peach and orange blossom to keep it light and not so sickly for the springtime. It does come across as intense candy shop sweet for some but for me it's a whole lot of sweet, fruity, floral deliciousness with a hint of sexy. And isn't the lolly shaped bottle just the cutest?!
I love the shades of the nail polish and lipstick, so pretty! x
