A Sunkissed Summer Collection by Clarins

It's beginning to feel a lot like Summer (not only because of the blistering heat), but also with the gorgeous limited edition Sunkissed Summer Collection by Clarins. Bright, colourful and bronzed is what it's all about and it has definitely gotten me into the spirit of the season.

WATER LIP STAIN

Any lip product with the words 'tint' or 'stain' I am (almost) immediately adding it to my cart. These three sparkling shades in Rose, Red and Violet truly do feel like you're just applying water to your lips and it's amazing! I will admit, upon first impressions I was a tad put off by the intense amount of shimmer throughout the formula (it reminded me of kids makeup), but it's actually quite subtle and it doesn't feel grainy or gritty on the lips whatsoever. After a while the shimmer does disappear and you're left with a naturally beautiful tint that lasts. Oh and one more thing, they smell like raspberry jelly - yum!

WATERPROOF EYE PENCIL

'Blue Lily' gives your eyes a wearable pop of colour for the summertime. Smudge it out in the waterline or create a cool wing and leave it at that for a super minimal, fresh look. I like how creamy, soft and pigmented the formula is so it blends effortlessly across the skin (without tugging or dragging) and it stays right where you put it all day. 

SOS PRIMER

Every expectation I had about this primer turned out to be the complete opposite, in a good way! Because this particular shade is for bronzing and warming up the complexion, I was worried I would go from Snow White to JLo in 2.5 seconds - no in between. But it's actually quite subtle once blended in and I'm left with a light bronzed glow that feels like I'm wearing nothing at all on my skin. I absolutely love the light, non-greasy texture, the way it instantly livens up my complexion, and how it smells like a bouquet of flowers.

  

BRONZING COMPACT

The packaging alone has some serious wow factor, which continues once you open the compact to find beautiful floral embossing with three different colours for a multidimensional finish to the skin. The powder is super soft with a mixture of finishes (shimmery, matte and satin), and applies like a dream! I don't normally reach for bronzers that have specks of shimmer, but come Summer and I want to be shimmering from head to toe! You can swirl your brush over all the shades or dip into them individually for a more precise application. The way this gives me that sunkissed warmth to my fair skin is simply beautiful, and I have a feeling it's going to be getting a lot of love this Summer!
