A Few Drugstore Loves | July

I was on a mission to explore the cosmetic aisle of my local Priceline and round up some products that are new to me. This is only a snippet of what I actually purchased from multiple trips (I have quite the haul), so I thought I would break it up and perhaps create a series of these posts about my newly found drugstore loves every few months or so. Let's get the first post of this series on a roll shall we?!

L'OREAL LUMI MAGIQUE CONCEALER

This concealer has pushed all the others aside and made its way into my everyday makeup routine. The lightweight, illuminating formula reminds me so much of the YSL Touche Eclat Concealer (that I adore!) and I really like the brush tip applicator. As far as coverage goes, it's quite light so I wouldn't recommend it if you have very dark under eye circles that need some heavy duty concealing, but it works a treat for brightening up the area!

RIMMEL THE ONLY 1 LIPSTICK

Since I'm a fan of Rimmel's Only 1 Matte Lipstick, I thought I would check this range out and boy am I glad that I did! 'Mauve-ment' is a lovely rosy-nude and I find myself reaching for this shade all the time because it just looks so flattering on my fair skin. The formula of these lippies are on point (high pigmentation with all day comfort), and they would make a great addition to anyone's makeup bag.

L'OREAL BASE MAGIQUE

L'Oreal are still winning my heart with the quality of their products and this primer is hella good! It looks like it would have a thick texture but it has this soft mousse-like consistency and once blended, your skin feels just like velvet. It gives me the smoothest canvas for my foundation and it fills in my pores perfectly. This is an absolute must-buy if you have textured skin, fine lines or large pores because it totally transforms your skin.

  1. I love these rimmel lipsticks but I need to get more of the nude shades. I love rimmel lipsticks in general. x
