Hey beauty lovers! Can you believe we're already 3 months into 2017? Time has really flown by and I hope February has treated you well. It's time for another monthly favourites and today I only have a few products to share with you so without further ado, let's jump straight into it.
Although this concealer has been around for a good while, I've been meaning to get my hands on it after hearing such positive things. Now that I have tried and tested it for myself, it's amazing. It's surprisingly liquidy in texture for a high coverage concealer but it works oh so well. A little goes a long way and I will say that if you are using this under your eyes, just be sure to only apply a small amount and set it well to avoid any possible creasing. It's light, blends beautifully and lasts all day long. Definitely up there on my top favourite drugstore concealers.
I have rediscovered my love for this powder duo this February when I paired it with L'Oreal's Nude Magique Cushion Foundation. The matte powder is so fine that it doesn't leave my face looking overly powdery in the slightest; it just melts into the skin and leaves my makeup looking flawlessly airbrushed. The glow powder is just stunning in the way it gives my skin that "glow from within". It's not glittery or too shimmery so it's quite a subtle highlight but it looks absolutely gorgeous on the skin.
This makes contouring and highlighting a breeze but what I like most about it is that it feels like nothing on my face. You simply draw where you want to contour and highlight, blend and that's really all there is to it. The highlighter stick is a lovely pearly shade that suits my fair skin perfectly and both shades are incredibly easy to blend, so I think this duo is just the thing for anyone wanting to get into makeup.
