November Favourites

November has come to an end (how time flies!), and I have already gotten into the festive spirit with decorating and wearing daggy yet awesome Christmas shirts. This November I've been loving a good handful of beauty and makeup products that I'm very excited to share with you all, so let's get straight into it!

I've ditched my makeup sponges this month and fallen back in love with these great, inexpensive Oval Brushes that I picked up from eBay a while back. They blend in my foundation SO well without leaving streaks behind, and I'm always left with a flawless base. They also work an absolute treat with cream contouring products, so these brushes are very handy and versatile. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and I think every makeup lover should have a set of these Artis dupes

As the weather warms up here in Australia, I've traded in my full coverage bases for lightweight bases like the Rimmel #Insta Flawless Skin Tint. It's pretty much a BB cream so it offers sheer coverage that's perfect for day to day or if you much prefer a natural makeup look. I really like the subtle glow that it gives my skin - it just makes me look healthy and radiant. You can definitely wear this under your makeup as a primer or alone like I have been lately. It evens out my skin tone beautifully as well and it's been a makeup bag must-have for me this November.

Santa's Belly by Lush was part of a gift set last Christmas so I busted him out of hiding and I've been loving it! The scent of apple juice and red wine really gets you excited about the holiday season as well as the little dissolvable stars, and the BEST part of all is how fun it is to use. It's a really wobbly, squishy jelly that you rub all over in the shower, rinse off and it leaves your skin feeling refreshed and nourished. I definitely recommend their Christmas bath and body products, they just make fantastic gifts for any age.

Australis' Contour and Highlighting palettes have been a HUGE hit and have been on my wishlist for quite some time now. This particular one has a row of a cream banana, highlight and contour shades with the powder finishes below them. I'm so impressed by this palette and can totally see why they were constantly out of stock all year round. The pigmentation of both the creams and powders are incredible and they blend beautifully with ease. I like to start off with the cream shades first, and then set it with the corresponding powders over the top so all that hard work doesn't budge. Such a high quality palette for the price and it's just the thing for anyone starting out with contouring and highlighting.
