Everyday Eyeshadows

When it comes to my everyday makeup, I usually stick to neutral tones of eyeshadows because they are so versatile and suit any occasion. Some days I might incorporate a few shades from a palette, or opt for a single eyeshadow when I'm going for a fairly simple and effortless eye look. Here are some of my well loved eyeshadows for my everyday makeup looks.

Chi Chi's Glamorous Eyeshadow Palette in Nudes has been a long time favourite of mine and I always take it with me when I'm travelling. It has all the shades you need - lights, darks, shimmers and mattes for creating any look you desire from soft and sweet to sultry and smoky. It's also a fantastic drugstore dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette and the colour payoff is pretty amazing. I do wish these palettes came with a mirror, however for the quality of the product that's something I can easily overlook.

Kitten by Stila is such an iconic shade and it's one that I like to sweep across my entire eyelids for a pretty and shimmery day time look, then simply tie it all together with a coat of mascara. It applies slightly sheer when dry but once you dampen your brush, it is very opaque and the champagne tone of this eyeshadow really brightens the eyes as well.

If I'm in a hurry I always reach for cream eyeshadows because they are so quick and easy to use. The Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow by e.l.f. that I mentioned in my latest Brand Focus are great to use on their own or as a base for your eyeshadow. Cruisin Chic is an opaque shimmery taupe-bronze shade that blends very nicely with your fingertips or a brush. For a cream formula it doesn't crease at all so bonus points for that and it's also quite long lasting.

Another affordable cream eyeshadow that I'm very fond of is Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Barely Branded (soft nude-gold). Very rich in colour and wears really well throughout the day without any sort of fading or creasing. These eyeshadows are extremely easy to work with so they don't require much effort or skill, which makes them great for beginners or if you prefer the fuss-free approach to your makeup.

The Too Faced Natural Eye Palette was the very first high-end product that I had purchased, and it was all I used for months on end. The obsession was real and I still absolutely adore it to this day. The texture of these eyeshadows are SO silky and luxurious they are just to die for, and you've got a nice selection of neutral mattes and shimmers so you can easily transform your look from subtle to glam with this palette. If you love your neutral tones of eyeshadows I definitely recommend this one, it is well worth the price!
