Collective Haul

Hi lovelies, hope you are all well. If you're new to my blog, welcome and if you're a regular reader, thanks for sticking around!

I love to read about what fellow beauty bloggers have been hauling lately, and I realised that it's been a while since I've done a haul myself. But I have been collecting bits and pieces here and there, so I thought I would share my little beauty haul with you all today.

I came across the e.l.f. Illuminating Palette (previously called Ambient Palette) on Pinterest and it really caught my eye, especially when I read that it's a dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. I honestly didn't have high hopes for it as I thought the shades would be powdery with chunks of glitter, but boy was I wrong! I am thoroughly impressed by the quality and it leaves such a subtle yet beautiful glow to the skin. I love this palette and it has quickly become part of my daily makeup routine.

Ciate is a brand that I'm not too familiar with, so I had a browse through their range and could not resist the Pretty Stix Murumuru Butter Lipsticks. First of all, how sweet is the packaging?! And secondly, the formulation is so soft and creamy. 'First Love' is a very flattering red with pink undertones that isn't too bold so it's perfectly wearable for day or night.

After reading nothing but extremely positive reviews on the Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow, I just had to give them a try for myself. I must say, these certainly did meet my expectations! The pigmentation is lovely and they blend like a dream. 'Bella Champagne' adds a beautiful shimmery wash of colour to the eyelids, and I like that you can use these wet as well to intensify the colour. Would love to get my hands on more of their shades!

The latest addition to my fragrance collection is Olympea by Paco Rabanne that I also featured in my August Favourites, and I have been non-stop spritzing it. It is on the pricey side being a more high-end perfume but honestly, it is worth every cent because it lasts all night on my skin and it smells absolutely divine.

I've been really liking the e.l.f. Baked Blush in 'Peachy Cheeky' as a springtime blush. It's a shimmery coral shade that looks beautiful once the sun hits your skin. It's also infused with Jojoba, Rose, Sunflower, Apricot and Grape to nourish the skin. The quality of these blushes are amazing for the price!

New to Maybelline is their Baby Lips Balm and Blush which I thought would be a great product for more natural makeup looks this season. It is so quick and easy to use especially on the-go, and 'Juicy Rose' leaves a really nice rosy-pink flush to the cheek. It works quite well as a tinted lip balm also, and the Vitamin E keeps my lips feeling soft and hydrated throughout the day.

The Bare Minerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo is as beautiful as I had anticipated. The matte powder is so fine and luxurious, and it also does a wonderful job at setting my makeup in place while giving my skin that slight airbrushed finish. The glow powder is definitely more on the subtle side which makes it perfect for day to day. I just know that I will be taking this powder duo with me everywhere I go!
