June Favourites

Goodbye June and hello July! I hope this past month has treated you well! We are already more than halfway into 2016 (crazy right?!) and I have 5 gorgeous makeup items to share with you, so let's get into my June favourites.

First up is the Ultra HD Lipstick by Revlon in the shade Primrose (berry tone). I think this shade just screams Autumn/Winter and I'm really impressed by how beautifully it applies to the lips, it just glides on. The formula is so creamy and moisturizing, with amazing colour pay off as well. They also leave a lovely satin finish to the lips which is quite flattering. I don't think I've ever tried a wax-free lipstick before so I'm glad I gave this range a try, I think they are of fantastic quality.

I picked up Tarte's Tartelette Tease Amazonian Clay Palette while I was in the U.S. and  I have been obsessed with it ever since! I absolutely adore the packaging and the eye shadow shades are simply perfection. They blend like a dream and the pigmentation is exactly what I expected from Tarte. The palette holds 4 matte shades, 2 shimmers and you can easily create a day to night look with the mix of light and dark shades. First Kiss (mauve shimmer) and Crush (taupe shimmer) would have to be my favourites, they are great for an every day eye look.

Master Plan by Essie has been on my nails all June. It's a lovely soft grey shade that I think is a great transitional nail colour from Autumn coming into Winter. I'm a huge fan of Essie's range of polishes, they are always on trend and they are always introducing seasonal collections which I think is wonderful. I love how unique some of their colours are as well, it's a nice change from seeing so many basic shades on the shelves. Also the consistency of the polish is just right (not too thick or too watery), which makes application a breeze without streaks.

Winter tends to really suck out the life out of my complexion making it appear dull, so I've been reaching for L'Oreal's Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer to give my skin a boost of radiance. It truly makes a difference to my overall complexion by giving me a subtle luminosity without looking glittery or shimmery. It's a lightweight but hydrating formula so if you suffer from dry patches, this will definitely take care of that.

A lip product that quickly became one of my top favourites is the Matte Me Lip Cream in Birthday Suit by Sleek MakeUP. It's just one of those classic nude shades and the staying power is pretty incredible. Great pigmentation, not overly drying and it doesn't flake off throughout the day which is nice. Absolutely blown away by the quality for a drugstore product and I definitely recommend them if you love a good matte lip.

What's been your favourite this June?
