Birthday Wishlist

Hi readers! My birthday is ever so slowly approaching so here I am sharing with you what is on my birthday wishlist this year. Most of these items are beauty related (no surprise there) and I have been lusting over them for quite some time now. So let's get into it shall we?!

I was having a little browse on Beauty Bay and came across Illamasqua's new Lava Lips lipstick. I was instantly intrigued by the marble effect. Activist has this beautiful deep pink and purple swirl that would blend together as you apply for a vibrant, satin finish. I'm definitely not game enough to wear it during the day but I think it would be a gorgeous 'night out' shade. I just think it's a really cool, unique idea and I would absolutely love to give it a try!

Monogram pouches are so versatile and classic and I love how you can personalize your pouch with initials, a name or even a word. Not only that but you can also design your own by choosing the texture of leather, suede lining colour and even the colour of the zip. I really like that you have so much control over customizing your own pouch to the way you desire. It would be great as an every day pouch to hold the essentials or can even be used as a makeup bag.

Next up is Benefit's new Dandelion Dew liquid blush. It gives you that subtle wash of colour that is so soft and radiant. I think it would be perfect for Spring and Summer when you're just going for a light, fresh makeup look. I cannot get over the packaging, it is absolutely gorgeous! I've seen nothing but positive reviews about this blush so I'd love to get my hands on it!

I came across Grey Lines on Instagram and fell in love with their range of quirky shirts and accessories. One that really stood out to me was their makeup bag that says 'War Paint'. It's made with 100% cotton, has a functioning zip and it's large enough to hold all of my makeup essentials. They have so many to choose from and the text is so clever and sassy!

The final item on my wishlist is a fragrance that I had a little sniff of in a magazine and it's called Olympea by Paco Rabanne. The bottle itself is stunning and has a fresh oriental signature. Base notes: Cashmere, ambergris and sandalwood. Middle note: Salty vanilla. Top notes: Ginger, jasmine and mandarin. The scent is simply amazing and it honestly does smell like the modern day goddess!
