Makeup Revolution Haul

Every now and again I like to treat myself to a good old makeup shopping spree which is exactly what I've done. Some of these items have been on my wishlist for months and others are relatively new, and I am oh so excited to share them with you!

First up is the I Heart Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the eyeshadows! It truly feels like a luxury product, they are so buttery and pigmented. It's been said that it's a dupe for the very well known Chocolate Bar Palette by Too Faced but for a fraction of the price. These shades range from matte to shimmer and light to dark so any makeup look is possible with this palette. Nothing but outstanding reviews on this particular palette so it definitely lived up to my expectations!

I was running low on my usual makeup setting spray so I thought I would give the Pro Fix Oil Control Makeup Fixing Spray a try. As I have an oily t-zone, most drugstore setting sprays just don't cut it for me and my makeup is a mess after only a couple of hours. This one however is amazing! My makeup still looked great after hours of wear, and there was barely any smudging or fading throughout the day. It has a chemical scent to it but once you apply it, you don't notice it at all. I'm quite impressed by this setting spray, it really delivers.
There was one shade (Love You To Death) in the Death By Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette that I was really drawn to and it swatched beautifully! It's a shimmery purple shade that would look so flattering on brown eyes. Just as highly pigmented as I Heart Chocolate with a good mix of shimmers and mattes. The shades are more cool toned and it's quite a unique palette for me, I don't own anything like it so I'm happy to have this in my collection.

I don't own many matte blushes at all so I had a little browse and came across Beloved. This coral/peach Matte Blush shade is perfect for fair skin tones as it gives you such a natural flush to the cheek. Very pigmented so be sure to use a light hand and build it up if need be. I'd love to get my hands on more of their shades, I think they're great!

I wasn't sure what to expect with the Go To Heaven Eyeshadow Palette but I can honestly say I really like it! You have 18 matte and shimmer shades in this gorgeous wheel and it's perfect if you're a lover of neutral tones. Amazing quality for the price so you won't be disappointed.

The Vivid Shimmer Bricks are new from Makeup Revolution and have been extremely popular. I picked up the shade Radiant as I thought it would suit my fair skin tone and I am obsessed. If you like intense face highlighters, then you'll love these! It comes with 5 different strips of highlight shades and they can be used individually for a more precise application, or swirl your brush through all of the shades for an all over warm bronzed glow.

My favourite eyeshadow palette from this haul would have to be the I Heart Chocolate Salted Caramel. This one has also been to be a dupe for the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette by Too Faced. I don't own that palette unfortunately so I can't compare the two however, the shades look incredibly similar. I absolutely love the packaging of the I Heart Chocolate range, and I cannot wait to grab the rest of them to complete the collection. The quality is just as amazing as the other two from the range that I've mentioned, and I know it's going to be well loved. I 100% recommend these to anyone!

Last but not least is a lipstick and it's in the shade Chauffeur from the new Rose Gold Lipstick line. I could not resist that luxurious rose gold bullet and the lipstick itself is just fabulous! The formulation is very creamy which makes it really comfortable to wear on the lips and you can build up the colour to sheer or opaque, depending on what you're going for. It's a sort of cool toned nude and actually works well with my fair skin. I was also looking at getting Diamond Life which looks like a stunning deep berry shade.
