Drugstore Favourites

I've noticed that a lot of the makeup I have been wearing lately are mostly from the drugstore, so here I am sharing with you which 5 makeup products I'm currently loving right now!

I am so thrilled that Target our now stocking Sleek MakeUP and I have been lusting over their Highlighting Palette in Solstice for the longest time! I'm a sucker for packaging and not only is the reflective gold absolutely stunning, the highlight shades are simply beautiful. It includes two baked powders, a cream formula and a shimmer powder. These shades are incredibly pigmented and will give you such a luminous glow to the skin. If you're on the search for an affordable high quality highlighter, definitely check this one out!

Left to right: Ecliptic, Hemisphere, Subsolar, Equinox.

I've been loving the small wand on Revlon's new Ultimate All-in-One Mascara, it makes coating your bottom lashes that so much easier. The formula is great; It separates my lashes nicely so it doesn't give me that spidery clumpy look which I'm not very fond of, and it gives my lashes some volume as well.

Cushion foundations are popping up everywhere and have become a huge hit. L'Oreal have released a new foundation called the Nude Magique Cushion Foundation and I'm really liking it! Honestly, I wasn't sure about the idea at first but it really surprised me and it truly is a revolutionary foundation. It's pretty much a sponge drenched in foundation so you just dab the applicator puff into the product and apply away! It provides light to medium coverage so if you have blemishes, you will need to use a concealer for those areas. The finish is just lovely and no matter how much you build up the product, it doesn't look cakey or feel heavy on the skin. L'Oreal have done an amazing job with this foundation!

I was looking through my blushes and realized that I didn't have any by Rimmel, so I picked up the Lasting Finish Soft Colour Mono Blush in the shade Pink Rose. I'm in love with this shade and I've been wearing it non-stop! It's a very muted pink and it compliments my fair skin quite nicely. The texture of this blush is so soft and smooth with beautiful pigmentation. I love the subtle sheen it gives to my cheeks as well, it truly is a lovely blush.

I'm a big fan of the NYX Butter Glosses so I thought I would give their Mega Shine Lip Glosses a try. Let me tell you, these are just as amazing! I bought a few of them and I have to say Nude Pink is my favourite out of the bunch. It offers intense shine without the sticky formula so my hair doesn't get stuck to it on a windy day. It's a subtle pink shade so I like to wear it for day to day, or if I need something to throw on whenever I'm in a hurry. It is so comfortable on the lips and I rather enjoy the sweet scent to it. These lip glosses are an absolute winner in my books and I highly recommend them!

That is it for my drugstore favourites and I hope you enjoyed the read!
