February Favourites

It's a new month so that means it's time for me to share with you what I've been loving throughout the month of February. I have a mix of things that I've been really enjoying from accessories, makeup and skincare so let's get into it!
I always apply a hand cream before bedtime to keep my hands feeling silky smooth and hydrated. Mecca Cosmetica's Transforming Hand Cream feels so luxurious and lightweight on the skin. It's never greasy or oily which is why I've been loving it lately. The squeeze tube makes it very easy to apply on the go as needed and the scent is quite subtle. A little goes a long way and it absorbs quickly leaving you with nourished, soft hands. It really does feel like cashmere.

I've been really into books that are motivational and inspirational and I recently picked up Louise Hay's Power Thoughts. It is filled with 365 daily affirmations to help lift your mood and keep you feeling positive. You can flick through it at random or read a few a day and I really believe it helps to rid that negativity, making me feel good about myself again. It's a beautiful little book for anyone who loves their inspirational quotes, and each page is so bright and colourful which I think also plays a part in keeping your spirits high when you're feeling down.

I've heard great things about L.A Girl so I tried out one of their Glazed Lip Paints and I was very impressed by the quality. The shade Blushing is a gorgeous mauve that is rich in colour and super glossy. It doesn't transfer too much and I would recommend using a lip liner beforehand to prevent feathering. The packaging isn't the best, it can get a bit messy upon application but I just use my fingers and it does the job. I'd love to try out more products from L.A Girl. They're inexpensive and so far have impressed me.

I found these sunglasses on eBay and they were an absolute bargain. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality as they don't feel cheaply made at all. I love the mirrored lenses and the gold metal with the white marbling. That whole style is very on trend and they actually fit perfectly over my eyes. I'm not sure how much UV protection they offer but I only bought these for travelling long distances because if they somehow broke in my luggage, I wouldn't be so devastated. You just can't go wrong for the price and how great they look.

I received the Ro's Argan Body Conditioner in a Christmas gift box and I've been really enjoying it this past month. My legs can become sensitive to shaving and it leaves me with dry, irritated skin so I love to lather my legs in this after I've shaved to re-hydrate and moisturise them. I didn't even feel the need to have to apply a moisturiser afterwards so it works extremely well at soothing and nourishing my skin. The rose scent of this body conditioner is heavenly and it still lingers even after you've rinsed it off. It's full of lovely ingredients like almond oil, brazil nut oil, cocoa butter and vitamin E which provides intense hydration. The consistency is so rich and creamy but it doesn't leave you with that greasy feeling. Another beautiful product by Lush and I'd definitely recommend it if you love your body conditioners.
